Air is the way to go

Every project is easier when you have the right tools for the job, and the AirThread 2000D provides all the tools you need to deliver professional quality finishes to your projects. With Janome's One-Push Air Threading System the tedious task of threading the upper and lower loopers is a thing of the past. The 8-Piece feed dog system will easily grab and feed your fabric, from slinky knits to denim, the AT2000D will meet the challenges of your sewing projects.

The built-in one-step converter makes changing from 3-thread to 2-thread applications easier than ever. And with a built-in needle threader, manually threading your needles becomes easier than ever. One unit provides threading of both the right and left position needles.

Air threading system

The aire thread delivery system with a lever ratchet mechanism provide stable air threading. Simple insert your thread into the looper theading hole and then follow the easy steps and the air will blow the thread through the looper with this one push blast air threading system.

Looper selection lever

Position your thread and direct the looper secton level to the looper you want to thread. Move the lever to the right for the lower looper and to the left for the upper looper.

Built in needle threader

It is now even easier to thread your needles and it will save you lots of time too. Simply slide the needle threader switch ot L for the left needle and R for the right needle and you will be stitching in not time at all.

Adjustable foot pressure

For normal sewing simply move the dial and select 'N'. There are five levels to choose from so you can adjust for lightweight through to heavier weight fabrics.

Lower looper pre-tension setting

Adjust the lower looper tension easily by adjusting the slider. So you can switch between rolled hemming to standard overlocking in no time at all.
