Brother A Grade Machines

Brother A-Grade machines are those which have been returned to Brother UK in 'as new' condition and are then repacked. They are machines that have been returned as incorrectly ordered, not required or the machine may have failed on arrival in which case the failed part is replaced. All Brother A Grade machines are checked and tested by qualified Brother engineers before repacking and include a full 3 year manufacturers guarantee covering labour, carriage and parts (exc. consumables).

Perfect for basic dressmaking, repairs and alterations

The RH137 is a traditional metal chassis sewing machine from Brother, perfect for dressmaking, repairs and alterations.

The lightweight but sturdy RH137 has an easy to use stitch selector with a choice of 36 true stitches for both utility and decorative sewing inc. straight, zig-zag, blind hem, darning/mending, shell tuck, scallop, double action, bridging, overlock and stretch stitches. Plus an automatic 1-step buttonholer.

Quick Start Bobbin

The RH137 has the convenient top loading bobbin mechanism with "quick start" thread cutter which not only takes the hassle out of bobbin changing, but is smooth and quiet (even at full speed) and is far more reliable when sewing heavy and more extreme fabrics compared to similarly priced front loading bobbin machines.

Reverse function

Of course, the RH137 has a reverse function for securing the ends of your seams and an easy flat bed / free arm conversion for trouser hems and other difficult to reach areas.

Built in needle threader

The convenient built-in needle threader will have the eye threaded in seconds and independent adjustable stitch length and width also adds to the versatility of the RH137.
