The Janome 2200XT has a perfect balance of quality, features and price, making it an ideal purchase for the novice dressmaker and for general curtain making and alterations around the house.

Easy to thread and operate, this model will sew straight stitch and zig zag as well as blind hem, stretch stitches and overlock plus an automatic 4 step buttonhole providing the necessities for easy straight forward sewing. Bulky fabrics and multiple layers can be sewn with ease using the 2200XT extra high presser foot lifter.

Fancy a little creativity? The 2200XT has a drop feed facility which means you can sew free hand in seconds. The recessed tension dial is right at your fingertips.

Remove the extension table and you have a free arm for sewing hard-to-reach areas. Retract the spool pins for safe storage and easily select reverse stitching with the push of a button.

The 2200XT also includes a comprehensive range of snap-on feet (6 feet plus blind hem guide included), a one-hand thread cutter, and the reliable front-loading oscillating hook system.
