The' walking foot' is fantastic. For 18 months I have struggled with plasticised cotton. The Janome lady in John Lewis has told me twice that there was no special foot, basically saying I could not sew such fabric on a sewing machine and should use the overlocker, and to think I almost bought the 4800 there.
