Disney designs are back at Brother. Whether you are experienced or just starting out, you will be able to achieve professional results with this combined sewing and embroidery machine. The Brother Innov-Is M280D is the upgrade to the popular NV955 model but with some major upgrades. The LCD screen is now much bigger 85 x 48mm and is now in colour. The free arm area to the right of needle now offers more room 160 x 105mm.
The M280D has improved sewing performance with the longer J Foot and longer feed dog which improves the machine feed and allows for easier sewing of thicker materials and projects.
The accessory box fits into the working space for compact storage and the hard case keeps the machine safe and dust free. The Innov-Is M280D will ensure your sewing and embroidery will have a personal, unique and professional finish.
Built-in monogramming fonts
10 embroidery fonts with adjustable size, angle and layout plus 4 sewing fonts with character spacing adjustments.
125 embroidery designs
There are 125 built-in designs (including 45 of which are Disney designs) for the 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4") embroidery area.
USB port
The M280D has a convenient USB port for memory stick transfer and you can easily download additional .PES designs. It will also read from the Brother card reader, so if you still have lots of Disney design cards you can insert these using the USB connection and access all your Disney designs.
Stitch selection
181 utility stitches and 109 decorative stitches which can be reversed, adjust stitch length and width and program reinforcement stitches and the thread cutter.

The M280D has a longer J Foot and longer feed dog which improves the machine feed and allows easier sewing of thicker items.
Colour LCD Screen
The LCD screen is now much bigger 85 x 48mm and you can easily edit, adjust and resize your designs in colour.
