Use the clear, colour LCD touchscreen to flip, rotate, change the colour and repeat designs. Challenge yourself and take your crafting even further. With wireless connectivity you can download additional designs, or connect to Artspira, Brother's new creative hub..

Oh Boy!! With the Innov-is M380D it’s time for some real swell sewing. With 181 built-in stitches, including 10 buttonholes, plus 4 lettering fonts your projects will be truly original. Take that individuality even further with My Custom Stitch™. Golly gosh, use the colour LCD touchscreen to design your own stitches or edit the built-in designs. Save them to your machine for future use. With a central panel including needle up/down button, slide speed controller, thread cutter and start/stop button, precision control is at your fingertips. Oh gee, with the optional wide table, you can tackle quilts and larger projects like a pro.

Advanced needle threading system - No more stress when threading. Follow the thread guide, and use the needle threader lever with one finger.

Convenient controls - For ease of use, all operating buttons are on one convenient panel - thread cutter, needle position up/down, Start/Stop function.

Colour LCD touch screen - Manage all the functions with a simple touch of the easy-to-read 3.7” colour LCD high resolution display (432 x 240 pixels). Includes icons and 15 languages.

Built-in font styles - 11 built-in font styles make it easy for you to personalise all your sewing and embroidery projects.

Super Bright LED Light - A bright, but gentle on the eye light, makes it easier to work on dark fabrics.

Bobbin winding system - Quick and easy way to wind lower thread! Just load the bobbin on the winder and the thread guide will show you which way to go.

100 x 100 mm embroidery area - Just set the embroidery unit and frame, select the pattern and you are ready to embroider. Additional frames are also available separately.

USB Port to import designs - Just insert a USB flash drive and load your embroidery design directly to the machine.

Combine embroidery patterns - Several designs can be embroidered together by combining patterns and pressing the “Add” button on the screen.

Quick-set bobbin - Just drop in a full bobbin and you are ready to go. There’s a lower bobbin sensor which will warn you when the bobbin is running low. Also equipped with an upper thread sensor.

200 embroidery patterns included - Choose from a variety of sophisticated patterns including 65 unique embroidery designs featuring your favourite Disney characters.

Built-in embroidery frame patterns - 14 stitch types can be combined with 10 different frame shapes, such as a circle or a square.

Editing on the screen - Powerful editing features include the layout, pattern rotation in 1°, 10° and 90°, mirror imaging and scaling between 90 - 120%.

Automatic thread cutter - Cuts upper and lower thread automatically with the touch of a button.

Wireless connectivity - With wireless connectivity you can transfer additional designs using Design Database Transfer (for Windows devices only), or connect to Artspira, our new creative hub.

Artspira - Reach for the sky and take your crafting even further. Here you will find free designs and projects, or even draw your own custom designs.

Sewing Features

181 sewing stitches - Choose from 181 stitches built into the machine, giving you unlimited creativity. Also includes 10 one step buttonhole styles.

4 lettering styles (sewing) - Add different lettering styles for labels and monograming projects.

My Custom Stitch - Design your own stitch patterns or edit and change the built-in template designs and save for future use.

Drop feed lever - Easy-to-switch lever to drop feed dogs for free motion embroidery and quilting.

Slide speed - Adjusts speed from slow to fast. This can also be set to alter stitch width whilst sewing for zig-zag stitches.

Needle stop position - Select whether the needle should be up or down when the machine stops. Useful for turning fabric, sewing corners or joining quilt pieces.

Hard case - Carefully protects the machine when not in use.

Automatic reverse/reinforcement stitch - The machine automatically sews reverse/reinforcement stitches at the beginning and end of sewing.

Mirror imaging - For more stitch variety use this function to create a mirror image of your stitch pattern.

Repeated single sewing - Choose whether the stitch pattern will be sewn once or repeatedly.

Combining stitches - Create your own stitch patterns by combining different stitches.

7 Point Feed - Provides a smooth feeding action and superior stitch quality on any weight of fabric.
