Acufeed 1/4" Seam Foot 202031002 Overview

A popular foot with patchworkers for that essential 1/4" seam. The guide on the foot enables you to sew a perfect 1/4" seam every time while the AcuFeed system guides your fabric precisely from both the top and the bottom. The small hole in the needle plate helps to support the fabric preventing it from being pushed under.

How to use the 1/4" Seam Foot:

1. Turn off the power switch and disconnect the power supply when changing the presser foot.
2. Select the straight stitch and set the stitch width at 5.5 to feed the fabric evenly with the left and right feed dogs.
3. Turn the wheel toward you to lower the needle and make sure that the needle does not touch the 1/4" seam foot.
4. For model MC7700QCP, please be aware that when the stitches D1S,D2S and D3S are selected with automatic plate converter closed, the needle drop position returns to 3.5.
5. Put the right sides of the pieces of fabric together and butt the edge of the fabric against the guide to sew a 1/4" seam.
