The crystals come in the cartridge, ready to just pop into your Lily Press. The cartridge helps to prevent scaling internally on your machine.
The length of the replacement period will depend on the water hardness in your area and the amount of steam used.
To be used in conjunction with filtered water when available to prolong the life of the cartridge.
