Brother A Grade Machines

Brother A-Grade machines are those which have been returned to Brother UK in 'as new' condition and are then repacked. They are machines that have been returned as incorrectly ordered, not required or the machine may have failed on arrival in which case the failed part is replaced. All Brother A Grade machines are checked and tested by qualified Brother engineers before repacking and include a full 3 year manufacturers guarantee covering labour, carriage and parts (exc. consumables).

Ideal combination of functions & simple operation

The Brother FS40s is a 40-stitch lightweight computerised sewing machine with a range of useful features. These include 1-step buttonhole-making facility, easy threading with built-in needle threader and a drop-in bobbin.

You manage the Brother FS40s sewing machine through the back-lit LCD control panel, extra large and very easy to read, from where you can adjust stitch length, width and needle position. Slide speed control means that you can set the maximum sewing speed, even if your foot control is at full throttle! Or alternatively, unplug the foot control pedal and use the stop/start button. Drop feed and free arm sewing represent further advantages and, for a machine with so much it can do, it’s easy to use, not least because it comes with a tutorial DVD.
