The advanced functions and absolute precision will allow you to master the art of sewing and bring your creative ideas to life.

The eXcellence 580+ has many easy to use features which will take your sewing to the next level, these features include a range of 120 built in stitches + 25 Elna stitches, an automatic one step buttonhole with 7 styles to choose from, 3 alphabets, plus fully adjustable stitch length and width.

Also with the benefit of the added arm space, which is measured at 8.25” (210mm), this is suitable for larger quilts and home furnishing projects. The eXcellence 580+ can also reach up to speeds of 820 stitches per minute and includes a 7 piece feed dog for precise feeding and a touch information screen.

The automatic thread cutter makes finishing your projects neat and tidy.

Exclusive accessory storage

Featuring a unique accessory compartment in the front cover, the eXcellence 580+ offers easy and permanent access to the most frequently used presser feet. This smart design is perfect for organising the collection of multiple standard accessories.

Easy access to functions

Operation is made extremely simple and efficient by direct access to these invaluable functions. Function buttons cover start/stop, reverse, lock stitch, up/down needle position and thread cutter. Along with the wide screen displaying key settings for the selected pattern, the touch panel enables the direct selection of four stitches and facilitates control of common functions.

Drop-In Horizontal Rotary Hook

The bobbin is loaded from above, making it effortless to start sewing and the clear cover enables you to see when the bobbin is running out.

Led Lighting

Compared to conventional lighting, LED bulbs provide a brighter and shadow-free illumination and with 4 LED lights in two areas, on the eXellence 580+ you can see your projects clearly. Power-saving and eco-friendly, they are a smarter solution altogether.

Built-In Needle Threader

Just one movement and the needle is threaded! Save precious time and get down to work immediately.

Free Arm

An invaluable feature for sewing tubular items, such as sleeves or trouser hems, as well as for smaller projects and darning.

Tension Control

Auto Tension System – When “A” is selected on the tension dial, the machine automatically adjusts the tension based on the fabric thickness. Especially useful when switching between fabric layer and types. Allows user to create perfect stitch consistency on a wide range of materials. The user can set their own tension by selecting numbers on the tension dial.

Start/Stop Button

The start/stop button allows the machine to sew without using the foot pedal. Great for long seams, as in drapes, or for quick mending.

Programmable Needle Up/Down

Push button to set needle to stop in the up or down position. Set the needle in the down position for easy pivoting on corners and for seamless free motion embroidery. Set the needle to the up position for easy fabric removal.
