423S Overview

The 423S gives you 22 stitches and a one-step buttonhole. With a sturdy, all-aluminium body and legendary Janome stitch quality, the 423 is perfect for quilting, home decor or garment construction. It comes with a hard cover, a built-in needle threader, a vertical oscillating hook, and auto declutch bobbin winder.

The length and width sliders allows the settings of stitch length and width and also used to select stretch stitches. Simply push the bobbin winder to the right and the drive is automatically disengaged.

The built in needle threader is always to hand, making threading needles quick and simple. While the thread cutter cuts and holds threads, ready for you to start sewing with tangled threads.

Snap the feet on and off easily. Lower the shank to attach and lift the lever to release. Lower the feed dog to allow free motion sewing e.g. darning, embroidery, etc.

The adjustable foot pressure regulates the foot pressure down onto the fabric providing better control. You can sew multiple layers with this robust alloy bodied machine as it has no problem.

Use the 1 Step Buttonhole that automatically measures the buttonhole to match the size of your button.
