Hi Russell, Have just
this minute taken delivery of my first ever sewing machine. I
haven't taken it out of its box but I am very very impressed with
the freebies alone! Gosh.....so much thread.......I don't think I
will need to buy any for a very very long time. The freebies alone
will save me a fortune. I will be using the machine for mainly
clothing repairs and household decorative items. I have been viewing
youtube and am grateful to all those who made videos to help us "newbies".
The internet is indeed an amazing library of information. I feel
inspired! I am really looking forward to getting to know "Janome". I
would like to thank you for your help and advice......And I am

me. The 761 would have been equally suitable but I felt that the
additional feet and stitch choice worth the extra money. This

about your service and products!? I got my new sewing machine - Janome
SMD2000 the day after the courier originally tried to deliver it as we
were out on the first attempt. Not a problem as it was then delivered
the following day as promised.
I have to say that I am extremely impressed by everything - the
machine itself, the length of the guarantee, the free gifts and the
free delivery - even up to the wilds of north Scotland!!

Comments: I just wanted
to let you know that I am delighted with my new sewing machine. My
ancient Elna lasted 39 years - the SMD 761 is an excellent
replacement. I was slightly puzzled when I saw that it was marked
Frister and Rossmann - had not realised that they must make machines
for you. This is an early 60th birthday gift from my mum but I
couldn't resist so took the day off work and have had a happy time
sewing.
