At 10.13 the van arrived and the driver gave me my 2 parcels we then had to wait 45 secs so that I could sign for it as the handset would not accept an early delivery!! Hi Russell, I have been meaning to contact you re the 2 machines you supplied for us, bought by Agnes of Support our Soldiers. Thank you so much, for giving SoS such a brilliant discount, and for sending us the goodie bags along with the machines. If you knew how many pairs of scissors I have accidentally thrown away with the fabric scraps - they fall off the table into the bin, I think. So the scissor pack was especially well received - as was everything. I just love both the 6600 (I had the 6500) and the Horizon is just fantastic! Especially when I have a quilt, made from donated camouflage trousers, to haul through. The guys seem to really like what we make them and keep asking us for quilts with their personal details - Regiment, company, platoon and the regimental badges, which I have had to learn to make, and the particular colours of their regt. I will enclose a couple of photos of ones I have made. We are meeting more and more triple amputees (because they are getting better at saving them on the battle field) but they are all so determined to make the best of their lives and go on to do amazing things like sky diving, cycling from Lands End to John O Groats. Every time we leave Headley Court (the Services Rehab Centre) we feel very humbled by them and very proud of them too. Thank you so much for your support for SoS and Q4IS, and our courageous young Servicemen, it is very much appreciated, and I am loving sewing on the Horizon!!!
